This series consists of six book on the elementary part of the theory of real functions in one variable. It is basic in the sense that Mathematics is the language of Physics. The emhasis is laid on worked exammples, while the mathematical theory is only briefly sketched, almost without proofs. The reader is referred to the usual textbooks/5(14). Complex analysis is one of the most central subjects in mathematics. It is compelling and rich in its own right, but it is also remarkably useful in a wide variety of other mathematical subjects, both pure and applied. This book is different from others in that it treats complex variables as a direct development from multivariable real calculus.
